AUSTRALIAN STANDARDS

Our wheelchair ramps are manufactured to Australian Standards 1428. 1-2009 or as per the OT’s recommendation.

• Threshold Ramps (Ramps up to 35mm) - Suggested Gradient 1:8
• Step Ramps (Ramps up to 190mm) - Suggested Gradient 1:10
• High Step Ramps (Ramps over 190mm) - Suggested Gradient 1:14
• Ramps steeper than 1:6G should not be constructed, as the average user will not be able to negotiate them.
